Limited vision doesn’t have to limit your life. At the Center for the Visually Impaired, we’ve supported thousands of people on the next step in their journey to a new beginning. CVI is Georgia’s only comprehensive low vision care specialist with more than six decades of experience helping people develop the confidence and skills to move through the world on their terms. We are committed to supporting:

• the individual facing diminishing vision
• families and caretakers supporting a loved one with vision loss
• physicians connecting a patient or client to continued care through our services

As a nonprofit, CVI services are available to patients regardless of income. Generous philanthropy from individuals, corporations, foundations and organizations, enables us to offer sliding fee scale and other financial assistance to people with vision loss in our community for whom cost is a concern.
